Thanks for sharing. I was looking for something for mock ups in Mac.
Another online usability testing tool you could add to your list is Usaura, which has some pretty cool features.

You’re so awesome! I don’t think I’ve read through a single thing like this before. So great to find someone with a few unique thoughts on this topic. Really.. many thanks for starting this up. This site is one thing that is required on the web, someone with a little originality!

  9. Great site, can’t believe I’ve only just found it! I’ll also take the opportunity to plug… We’re still in early beta but our aim is to make product teams more efficient by ensuring everyone understands the product vision as early as possible. Start by agreeing what the goal is then figure out how the user will get there. Take a look http://www.the-skore.com and let us know what you think. Thanks!

  10. Have you had a chance to use UXPin? I just signed up the other day. It requires a bt of setup for existing projects, but it’s starting to pay off. I just wish I had more time to build protos

  11. Great list.
Would you consider adding the link to my project: http://www.apiusabilitytesting.com to the “Usability Testing Services That Provide Testers” section? We provide remote usability testing of web-based APIs (application programming interfaces) and software components.
    Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,
Just came across your site and haven’t seen such a great compilation of tools before. I believe that businesses are shortly going to start realizing usability is as crucial as SEO, and your site is going to help make that happen.

My team just rolled out a crowdsourced website evaluation system that operates very quickly and affordably. If you think it fits in your list, we’d love it if you can add it into the section that includes testers. It does a 5 second test and a website looks scoring at present, with more tests to be added soon. The site is at http://ismywebsitegood.com

Also if you or any readers have suggestions on where to spread the word about this site it would be great to hear. It isn’t designed to be a fully detailed usability analyzer but rather, a tool that can be quickly utilized to show quickly and cheaply across 10 to 50 users whether a site is currently looking good and/or sufficiently passing a 5 second test.

    Thanks!
    Steve

    Hi Jennifer,

Have you tried fluidui.com? I believe it could be a worthy addition to your already awesome list of prototyping tools.
Do try it out, if you haven’t already.

    Thanks!
    Abhishek

  16. Thanks for sharing these amazing tools! As I get more time I will definitely check more tools from your list!
For now I tried usabilityhub, and it’s great! I’ve done a lot of tests there, because it really helps to see common mistakes. While working on your own project, it’s so easy to forgot that users make their decision whether they trust or not to your website at the first 5 seconds… I’m curious to get reviews about our website 🙂

  17. Thomas says:

Here’s one that can be useful (survey app) and that is well designed: http://vizir.co/en

  18. Ketaki says:

Hi Jennifer, do you also have a list of tools to do UI designing, wireframes, mockups and prototyping?

    Thanx for great blog 🙂

  20. Hey Jennifer! I thought you might consider http://apptourage.com/ for your UX testing list. We do precode UX analytics — basically send InVision flows to testers, and get an analytic dashboard showing UI performance before coding new features. 🙂

  21. What a huge inventory!
